One of the most powerful promises in Scripture is found in Daniel 7:18:
“But the saints of the Most High shall receive the kingdom, and possess the kingdom forever—even forever and ever.”

There Are Two Kingdoms

Jesus made this clear when He said:
“You are from beneath; I am from above… You are of this world; I am not of this world” (John 8:23).
Believers live in this world but are called to see, respond, and operate from another realm. Failure to understand this truth leads to spiritual struggle, compromise, and confusion
The Kingdom of God Is Being Built Now
Daniel 2:44 reveals that God is actively building a Kingdom that:
- Will never be destroyed
- Will outlast all earthly systems
- Will crush and replace every human kingdom
This Kingdom is not future only—it is present and advancing, even while earthly systems dominate headlines and human attention
Why the Saints Must Endure Trials
A recurring question addressed in the teaching is:
Why does God allow suffering, delays, and tribulation before the saints possess the Kingdom?
Scripture provides the answer:
- Faith must be proven (1 Peter 1:6–7)
- Patience is required to inherit (Hebrews 6:12)
- Endurance produces eternal glory (2 Corinthians 4:17)
What appears as affliction in this world becomes glory in the eternal Kingdom. God permits trials not to destroy believers, but to reveal His power, display His glory, and refine genuine faith
The Kingdom Is a Relay Race
The Kingdom agenda did not begin with us—and it will not end with us.
Hebrews 12:1 reveals that believers are surrounded by a cloud of witnesses—men and women who ran their portion of the race and handed the baton forward. From Abraham to Simeon, Anna, Paul, and the early Church, the Kingdom has advanced through faithful generations
Our responsibility is to run well and hand over faithfully.
The Kingdom Is a Treasure Worth Everything
Jesus described the Kingdom as:
“Treasure hidden in a field” (Matthew 13:44)
When a man discovered it, he sold everything to possess it.
The Kingdom is not an addition to life—it is life itself. Those who truly see its value will gladly release temporary comforts for eternal reward
Who Are the Saints?
A sobering truth in this teaching is that not everyone who claims faith belongs to the saints.
Jesus warned in Matthew 7:21:
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven.”
The saints are those:
- Known by the Lord
- Walking in obedience
- Persevering in faith
- Living in alignment with God’s will
The Kingdom is not inherited by assumption, religious activity, or public reputation—but by genuine faith and faithfulness
Rewards in the Kingdom Are Not Equal
Although salvation is by grace, rewards are according to faithfulness.
1 Corinthians 3 reveals that:
- Some build with gold and silver
- Others build with wood and straw
All will be tested. Some will be saved—but with loss. The wise believer does not merely aim to enter the Kingdom but to enter with eternal reward and honor
Conclusion
The promise is certain:
The saints shall possess the Kingdom.
Until that day:
- We endure with patience
- We live lightly in this world
- We invest in eternal realities
- We run our race faithfully
What is temporary will pass away—but the Kingdom we inherit is forever.
