Have Faith Like God: Understanding Governance Decrees and Kingdom Authority

Have Faith Like God: Operating in Governance Decrees

One of the most profound truths of the Kingdom of God is that believers are not called merely to survive life but to govern with God. In this powerful teaching, “Have Faith Like God & Governance Decrees,” the Holy Spirit unveils the God-kind of faith and the authority entrusted to the Church as God’s governing body on earth.

Jesus declared in Mark 11:22–24, “Have faith in God”—a phrase that can also be rendered as “Have the faith of God.” This faith is not human optimism or self-confidence; it is divine faith, implanted in believers at salvation and designed to enforce heaven’s will on earth.

Faith Is for Kingdom Advancement, Not Self-Centered Living

Faith was never given merely for personal comfort, material provision, or problem-solving. Its primary purpose is the fulfillment of “Thy Kingdom come” (Matthew 6:10). When believers prioritize the Kingdom, every other need aligns automatically.

Faith is heaven’s mechanism for:

  • Enforcing God’s will
  • Advancing the Kingdom of God
  • Subduing darkness
  • Establishing righteousness in every sphere of life

Governance Decrees: Legislating Heaven on Earth

A key revelation in this teaching is drawn from Job 22:28:
“You shall decree a thing, and it shall be established for you.”

The word “decree” comes from the Hebrew word gazar, meaning:

  • To legislate
  • To enact into law
  • To authorize divine counsel

This reveals that the Church is not a passive religious gathering but God’s legislative assembly (Ecclesia)—called to enact heaven’s decisions on earth.

Jesus intentionally used the word Ecclesia (Matthew 16:18), a political and governmental term, to define His Church. This means believers are God’s authorized representatives, entrusted with kingdom keys, not opinions.

Authority Comes from Alignment, Not Presumption.

Governance decrees are not human declarations or emotional confessions. They flow from alignment with God’s revealed will. Jesus clarified this in Matthew 16:19:

“Whatever you bind on earth shall have already been bound in heaven.”

True authority comes from discerning what heaven has decided and enforcing it on earth. This requires:

  • Persistent prayer
  • Intimacy with God
  • Revelation of His will
  • The mind of Christ

The Mind of Christ and Spiritual Discernment

According to 1 Corinthians 2:14–16, spiritual authority is rooted in spiritual discernment. The believer who walks closely with God develops the mind of Christ, enabling them to:

  • Judge matters accurately
  • Discern spiritual realities
  • Make kingdom-aligned decisions
  • Release effective decrees

This is how God raises a people who can negotiate the destiny of nations.

A Kingdom Army Is Rising

The teaching culminates in a prophetic vision of a disciplined, equipped, and spiritually advanced army—representing the end-time Church. This army operates with:

  • Strategy
  • Authority
  • Revelation
  • Discipline
  • Kingdom technology

They are unstoppable because they legislate heaven’s will on earth.

Conclusion

God is calling believers into a higher realm of responsibility—not merely praying for change but becoming the agents of change. When we have faith like God, align with heaven, and speak from divine burden, mountains move, nations shift, and God’s Kingdom prevails.
